- Silent duct's innovative three-inch diameter flexible ducting gives you all of the benefits of conventional high velocity systems, but with significant advantages.
- While as easy to install as two-inch duct, Silent Duct requires fewer vent terminals than traditional high velocity systems. Recommended vent placement is high on the interior walls of a house, to provide maximum home-owner comfort.
- The larger diameter also leads to less static pressure. That means the system is quieter than conventional systems and uses less fan energy. The small dimensions of the air handler allow ceiling mounting or mounting above a water heater.
- Silent Duct also works easily with conventional cooling coils and equipment.
- The complete system comes equipped with air handling and compact duct components such as grilles, boots, flexible ducting and duct connectors.
- Silent Duct is pre-sized so all you have to do is select the model that is right for your application. There are six Silent Duct systems, ranging in size from 16,000 Btu/h to 119,000 Btu/h. Extra branches may be purchased separately as required, but standard models come with six to 21 branches, depending on the system.
